Chamberlain College of Nursing
Chamberlain College of Nursing (CCN) is an online learning environment for those who are beginning or continuing their nursing education. It provides the necessary training for registered nurses who work in acute, rehabilitation, or long-care care facilities. CCN offers an associate level nursing program and a fast-track program for RNs to earn their BSNs. Applicants can begin online courses in the spring, summer, or fall.
Chamberlain College is owned by DeVry, Inc. and was formerly known as the Deaconess College of Nursing. The Chamberlain College of Nursing expands upon Deaconess’ original mission by offering nursing education that has a broad educational foundation. CCN produces compassionate nurses who are dedicated to community service and leadership in the healthcare industry.
Chamberlain College of Nursing is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is part of the North Central Association. Chamberlain’s BSN program is accredited by both the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The Associate Nursing program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission.
Chamberlain is increasing access to nursing education and expanding their online programs in response to the country’s nursing shortage. Online courses provide the same level of instruction as traditional classroom instruction, and CCN provides various services and organizations to foster a learning community.
