Gonzaga University
Gonzaga University is meeting the need for trained health care professionals through their accredited online degree programs. Gonzaga offers BSN and MSN degrees in nursing as well as a post-graduate certificate in nursing, and it is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
Gonzaga nursing programs continue to evolve and meet the demands of the nursing profession, and curriculum is developed to meet growing needs in health care. For example, Gonzaga is taking great strides to train nurses in new medical careers emerging from the aging “baby boomer” population.
The Gonzaga curriculum is designed around small groups of students to foster communication between peers and instructors. Instructors at Gonzaga have tremendous experience in patient care, research, publishing, and teaching and designing courses that reflect the most recent trends in the health care industry. Therefore, Gonzaga’s online education is just as valuable as traditional on-campus coursework, as students receive the same materials and assignments and have access to user-friendly chat rooms and message boards to gain access to professors.
As a Catholic Jesuit university, Gonzaga educates its students about worldwide health care concerns, ethical issues, and emotional health. Instructors relate their own professional experiences to teach course content and develop tomorrow’s leaders.
