Students of Grand Canyon University can complete an RN to BSN degree program or an MSN that focuses on nursing education or nursing leadership. Grand Canyon also offers a dual MSA and MBA that can be completed online.
The use of Angel technology allows Grand Canyon to make each student’s online education as easy and accessible as possible. They provide a consistent format for every class along with a syllabus, discussion board, and drop box for completed assignments. This enables students to access their messages, notes, and assignments at their own convenience.
Students are asked to access their workstations several times during the week to discuss topics with their peers and instructors, work on assignments, and study. Students have the option of taking exams electronically although professors may assign alternative papers and projects for evaluation. Grand Canyon promotes a disciplined environment that students will need to succeed in the health care industry.
Grand Canyon’s faculty works diligently to create a positive learning environment that changes and adapts curriculum to meet the needs of the healthcare profession. Grand Canyon sees nursing as both an art and a science, and it trains its students to be competent in both aspects of the profession.
