Indiana State University offers accredited courses, degrees, and professional development programs all online. Their online courses are taught by the same faculty members who teacher their on-campus courses, so students can be rest assured so they are getting the same level of instruction. Students can pursue an RN to BSN program or a MSN degree. MSN students can specialize in family practice nursing, administration, or nursing education.

Indiana State’s BSN degree prepares students for a career in nursing and to eventually pursue the MSN. MSN graduates are trained for leadership positions or prepared for advanced studies in a doctoral program.

Indiana State University’s online programs allow students to take courses while working or over the summer. Online courses can be combined with on-campus courses if students are able to attend class on campus. Most courses are delivered online, but select courses are offered in a multimedia format as well.

Indiana State University treats online learning the same as traditional coursework. Students need to turn in assignments on time, contribute to online discussions, and ask questions if they need help. Though students are afforded more freedom to schedule their own studies, they must also be disciplined enough to keep up with readings, assignments, and projects.

Online students will also benefit from the support of admissions counselors, academic counselors, and technical support staff members. They will be instructed as to what materials and books they need for each course.
