The University of Cincinnati’s College of Nursing is the first college in the U.S. to award a university degree in nursing. As part of the Academic Health Center along with the University Hospital and the Colleges of Allied Health Science, Pharmacy and Medicine, it is dedicated to providing excellent and in-depth educational and clinical opportunities for its students.

University of Cincinnati offers an online MSN in nurse midwifery and an MSN as a women’s health practitioner. Instruction includes the most recent and advance methods and knowledge from instructors who have both real-world and academic experience. Online professors teach the same courses that they do on campus, so students can be confident they are getting the same education that on-campus students receive. Online students have access to advisors, financial assistance representatives, course instructors, professional facilitators, and a learning helpdesk.

Students have 24-hour access to coursework and information so they can work and study around their scheduling needs. Online instruction allows students to view classes as often as they want or stop and start when it is convenient for them. Students interact with their peers in chat rooms, message boards, and emails, so it is ideal for busy professionals who want to continue their degree in a collaborative setting but are unable to attend regular classes.
